Barrier-free Systems (M. Sc.)

Interdisciplinary degree program

The degree program Barrier-free Systems at Frankfurt UAS is a congregation of three Master programs:

  • Barrier-free Planning and Building M. Sc. ("Planen und Bauen", Faculty 1)
  • Intelligent Systems M. Sc. ("Intelligente Systeme", Faculty 2)
  • Case-Management for Barrier-free Living M. Sc. (Faculty 4)

Innovative spatial and interior systems are explored and developed through creative approaches and within interdisciplinary work groups in order to enable people of all ages and capacity limitations to live independent and self-reliant lives. In addition to subject specific skills and knowledge, the programme teaches management and organisation skills, social competencies, the ability to work within a team and communication and presentation skills.
