Interdisciplinary Learning Outcome

  • Acquire knowledge of sustainable workplace concepts, designs, technologies, and operations.
  • Analyze workplace-related issues through diverse theoretical and methodological approaches from multiple disciplines, including sociology, psychology, management, real estate, facility management and information technology.
  • Develop solutions for enhancing workplace design, culture, and management by applying interdisciplinary insights.
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative designs and operations tailored to specific needs using established criteria.

Project work with presentation (Processing time: 3 weeks)

Upon successful completion of the module, students will be able to:

  • Think interdisciplinarily, identify different aspects of a cross-cutting theme, weigh them against each other, and reflect holistically.
  • Understand and clearly present the connections within their future professional field in the context of various disciplines and societal interests, while representing and defending these connections competently.
  • Reflect on the effects and consequences of their professional and societal activities, drawing conclusions for their own actions.
  • Develop an understanding of foreign ways of thinking through concrete interdisciplinary tasks and work cooperatively with different cultures and value systems.
  • Analyze, synthesize, and apply interdisciplinary knowledge to develop practical, innovative solutions for workplace management.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively and make informed decisions in the context of global workplace standards and practices.
  • Evaluate the impact of their professional decisions on societal and environmental aspects, promoting sustainable practices.
