Welcome to the CAES website!

The Center for Applied European Studies (CAES) aims to provide scientific support as well as develop and propose application-oriented solutions for European issues and challenges. Besides research projects and the establishment of think tanks, the CAES will design educational programs and trainings. The organization of symposia, lectures and public events will promote the discussion on the “invention” of Europe and its future within public debates. An additional important objective will be the publication of relevant research findings and discussion outcomes.

Project interdisciplinarity will be paramount to the CAES’ work. New concepts will be developed as a result of international exchange and the continuous collaboration between the four different faculties of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

Additionally, cultural, economic, political and scientific perspectives will be discussed in order to generate new insights.
