Social Responsibility

We are doing our part to make the world a better place. By putting our expertise at the service of the general public for the common good as a university, we can make a big difference by making small changes. In doing so, we empower people and we assume concrete responsibility for others, for which we were awarded the City of Frankfurt's Citizens' Award in 2021.

Our projects are mainly in the area of engagement/ social commitment, education for democratic citizenship and social sustainability: We develop and implement these projects with cooperation partners from civil society, at local level (e. g. TELLUS), at regional level (e. g. #Zukunftsmacher), but also at international level (e. g. Change Agents). In this way, we always support third parties with our expertise and ensure stronger links within science and society.
