Traffic planning is the basis and the teaching area of the New Mobility specialist group.
We consider all interrelationships of the environmental network (pedestrian traffic, cycle traffic, public transport) and intermodality, also in connection with motorized individual transport. We also teach the technical basics of rail and road transport.
We offer an academic education in which current research topics are integrated and in which the practical application of scientific methods plays a major role.
The department is characterized by an interdisciplinary working team and good networking with partners from science, industry and the public sector.
