Regulations for the mechanical engineering teaching unit

Dear students,

The members of the Examination Board of the Department of Mechanical Engineering have decided the following: The members of the Examination Board decide that students may participate in examinations under reserve from the examination period summer semester 2024 without registration as long as HIS is not available to the usual extent. To do this, you must submit the following (declaration of consent for participation in an examination subject to reservation) before taking an examination, which you must complete and sign, e.g. in the case of a written examination, on the day of the examination immediately before the start of the examination.

Regulations for the electrical engineering teaching unit

Due to the current problems with Frankfurt University's IT systems, some procedures will be procedures for the coming examination period will be adjusted as follows:

Advance payments

The examiners will report the preliminary work to the Examinations Office in paper form by Monday, 15.7.2024. Participating students will be notified by the examiner.

Registration for the exams

➢ All students who have not already registered by Friday, 5.7.2024, must register in person at the examination office in order to participate. The registration deadline until Monday, 15.7.2024, will be maintained, but will end at 17:00h.

➢ Registration is subject to fulfillment of the admission requirements.

➢ If you are unable - for whatever reason - to register by the deadline, you can send an email to pruefungsamt_e(at)fb2.fra-uas.remove-this.de or one of the addresses below by 15.7.2024, 23:59h, to meet the deadline .In this case, the registration must beconfirmed byThursday, 18.7.2024, 16:00h, at the examination office by personal appearance!

➢ A personal e-mail address can be entered when registering. If desired, the results of the preliminary work can then be sent to this address.

➢ The withdrawal deadline has been lifted. You can stay away from the exam without any consequences. However, students are requested to inform the Examination Office of their withdrawal in order to support the organization .

Implementation of the exams

➢ The rooms for the exams and all other information will be posted on the second floor of building 8 next to room 8-106. Please check 30 minutes before the start of the exam to see if any rooms have changed. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the examand be sure to bring your student ID with you.

➢ If it is clear at the beginning of the exam that you do not meet the admission requirements, you will be excluded from participation.

➢ Participation is subject to fulfillment of the requirements. If it later transpires that they have not been fulfilled, the examination will not be assessed . Participation that is deliberately and knowingly taken without fulfilling the prerequisites can bepunished as an attempt to deceive .
