A commission for consulting the Dean's Office and the Faculty Council in the strategic structural and development planning.

On March 19, 2015, the first meeting of the Practical Advisory Board of Faculty 3 took place. The Practical Advisory Board strengthens the connection to the professional world and helps contrast the experiences and expectations from business and society with Faculty 3’s activities. The Practical Advisory Board issues recommendations on strategies and implementation measures. The following are members of the Practical Advisory Board: Stephan Bruhn, CEO Frankfurter Sparkasse, Klaus Peter Frohmüller, Group CEO Wüstenrot & Württembergische a.D., Dr. Nils M. Koffka, Partner Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Dr. Kristin Neumann, CEO LSG Skychefs, Gerhard Rienecker, founder and CEO of the PASS Consulting Group, and Dr. Manfred Strombach, Managing Partner SMS Consulting. In the meeting, the first content items were discussed, such as the core skills of the faculty or the topic of applied research.
