Use your linguistic and cultural know-how of two countries for a career-ready future

BENEFIT means "benefit".

With the BENEFIT program, Frankfurt UAS offers you an extraordinary opportunity that will prepare you optimally for professional life at the Germany-Turkey interface – meaning: studying and working in Istanbul for a full year with minimal costs and full recognition of study and internship time. Of course, you have a real edge if you already know Turkish from home. But even if you learned the language elsewhere and just have to work on some details, this would not impede you from participating! The Frankfurt UAS Language Center will prepare you linguistically for your stay in Istanbul.

The BENEFIT package:

The İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi (Technical University Istanbul) is the third-oldest technical university in the world and one of the most well-known universities in Turkey. Its roots reach back to the times of the Ottoman Empire, where it was originally founded as a sultanic marine school.

The university has an excellent international ranking (No. 108 worldwide in engineering/technology in the QS Ranking, No. 7 among all universities in BRICS / Emerging Economies in THE Ranking).

The ITÜ has already been a partner university of the Frankfurt UAS for several years. Until now, both universities have cooperated so successfully with each other through the Erasmus program that the decision was made to create the BENEFIT program together.

Participants of the BENEFIT program study on the Maslak campus and are registered as "International Students" and as full-time students of the İşletme Mühendisliği program (= industrial engineering) in which they attend purely business courses. The International Office of the ITÜ guides the stay of the BENEFIT students and supports them especially in the start phase. BENEFIT students are exempt from study fees.

We are in contact with numerous German businesses or Turkish businesses with German capital involvement in Turkey and will soon put a selection online.

One condition for the financial subsidy is the that you fully participate in all parts of the BENEFIT program. It is only possible under certain conditions to end the BENEFIT program early and free of charge.

Prerequisites "to go".

You are at least a 3rd semester student at Frankfurt UAS in the International Business Administration (B.A.) or Business Administration (B.A.) program. Please get in touch with us on time so that we can support you during the planning phase, since it takes a while. It is also a good idea to take the language courses of the Language Center early on – possibly even during the first semesters of the program, since you will have to prove Turkish skills at the "language level C1" before starting the BENEFIT program.

Discover the German-Turkish business market for yourself.

Germany is the most important trade partner of Turkey. The bilateral trade volume reached record values of €37.6 billion (2017). The number of German companies or Turkish companies with German capital holdings in Turkey increased to more than 7,000. And in Germany, entrepreneurs with Turkish origins employ about 500,000 employees with annual sales totaling €50 billion.

Use your know-how, and in the future, work for the two economic markets  in which you feel at home. It will pay off.
