Health insurance

All students up to the age of 30 have mandatory health insurance. Up to the age of 25 you are insured within your family insurance (extended due to military and community service) as long as you do not exceed a certain weekly working time or a certain monthly income. After reaching 26 years you are obligated to insure yourself. Since these regulations are complicated do not shy away from consulting your health insurance for any upcoming questions.

Accident insurance

Accidents that happen on campus of Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and on your way to or from university, students are covered by the university insurance. Private events on campus – such as parties or leisure activities – are not covered.
