Regulations for the teaching units of faculty 4

Submission of written examinations SoSe 2024

Due to the security incident at Frankfurt UAS, all written examinations in Faculty 4 Social Work and Health are currently being handed in printed on paper on site in the deadline box of the Examinations Office, 2nd floor, Building 2 of FraUAS.

Theses / final theses:

The submission of theses (Bachelor's/Master's theses) with a submission date of July 4 or later must be in writing on paper:

  • 2 bound copies and
  • on a data carrier (stick, CD), which must be labeled and firmly attached to one of the bound copies to be handed in.
  • Submit with cover sheet as shown below.
  • Deadlines from July 4 to July 12, 2024 will receive an extension until July 19, 2024.
  • Deadlines that begin after July 12 2024 remain valid as originally planned.
  • Timely dispatch by post also meets the deadline.

[Master's thesis degree program MASA] - New (as of 23.7.2024): Extensions of submission deadlines in Module 1, Module 4, Module 6 and Module 11 and Master's thesis

The Examination Board has decided to extend the deadlines for the current written examinations as follows.

Module 1: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 4: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 6: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 11: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Master's thesis: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

[MAXO PO 6114] - New (as of 25.7.2024): Extensions of submission deadlines in Module 2 to Module 8

The Examination Board has decided to extend the deadlines for the current written examinations as follows:

- Module 2 to Module 8: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

[MAXO PO 6120] - New (as of 25.7.2024): Extensions of submission deadlines in Module 2, Module 3, Module 4, Module 5, Module 7 and Module 8

The Examination Board has decided to extend the deadlines for the current written examinations as follows:

Module 2: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 3: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 4 weeks.

Module 4: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 5: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 7: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 8 (Master's thesis) : The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

[BASA degree program] New (as of 16.7.2024): Extensions of submission deadlines in Module 1, Module 10, Module 13 and Module 14

The Examination Board has decided on the following extension of deadlines for the current written examinations (this applies to all courses in the modules mentioned).

Module 1: The submission deadline for the written examination is is extended by 14 days.

Module 10: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 13: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 14: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

New for the BASA:transnational degree program (as of 18.7.2024):

Extension of submission deadlines in Module 1, Module 10, Module 14 and Module 23 (BASA:transnational degree program)

The Examination Board has decided on the following extension of deadlines for the current written examinations (this applies to all courses in the modules mentioned) .

Module 1 BASA:trans: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 10 BASA:trans: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 14 BASA:trans: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

Module 23 BASA:trans: The submission deadline for the written examination is extended by 14 days.

The following applies to all other written examinations:

  • Students who have submitted their written examination work, which is not a final thesis, electronically from Wednesday, July 3, are asked to submit their examination work again printed out on paper to be on the safe side, as it cannot be guaranteed that the file has reached the examiners.
  • Examinations with a submission deadline from July 3 to July 12, 2024 will receive an extension until July 19, 2024.
  • Deadlines after July 12, 2024 remain valid as originally planned.
  • Timely dispatch by post also meets the deadline.

Important for all written examinations

  • Cover sheet: please indicate on the cover sheet the written examination results to be submitted:
  • Study program
  • Module name
  • Surname, first name, matriculation number
  • Teachers of the module / course
  • Topic of the examination
  • Indicate whether individual or group work (if group work, indicate all names)
  • Telephone number where you can be reached or private e-mail address
  • The work must be stapled or stapled, DO NOT submit loose leaf collections and envelopes

Further regulations on examinations

Examinations will take place at the university as originally planned. The exams for modules 2, 3, 4 and 8 of the BASA degree program will also take place as normal. Only for those who, due to the IT security incident are unable to attend the exam dates in July 2024, a make-up exam is planned.planned.

Module 2: Monday, 14.10.2024, 9:00 a.m.
Module 3: Monday, 14.10.2024, 14:00 h
Module 4: Tuesday, 15.10.2024, 9:00 a.m.
Module 8: Tuesday, 15.10.2024, 14:00 hrs

Registration deadline: 23.09.2024

PrerequisitesThe make-up date is exclusively for students who were unable to attend the exams in July 2024 due to the the consequences of the hacker attack. Prerequisite for participation for participation in the make-up exam is that 1.) the student had registered for the registered for the exam in July and 2.) did not take the exam in July. It is possible to take part in several make-up exams.

Oral examinations

  • Oral examinations will take place at the university as planned.
  • Please note the notices in front of the Examination Office Building 2, 2nd floorn - regarding rooms and any changes.

Participation in examinations/cancellation policy

Regulation is based on the "Corona regulations"

  • Participation in the examination (written examination, oral examination) counts as registration and completion.
  • Anyone who does not take part is automatically deemed to have withdrawn - this is not counted as a failed attempt.
