- Your data is transmitted to the HR staff member at Frankfurt UAS responsible for the hiring procedure and to the interest representatives who must participate in the hiring procedure as part of their statutory tasks (women’s and equality representative, staff council, and, if applicable, representative for persons with a severe disability) so that they can evaluate whether you have the aptitude, qualifications, and professional ability for the position for which you are applying.
The interest representatives must also ensure that the hiring procedure is carried out according to the relevant legal regulations. - It is possible that access is given to the data; for example if there the university places a support inquiry and remote administration is necessary to analyze a problem more closely.

Duration for which personal data is saved
Application procedure: Your personal data and application documents will be anonymized six months after the hiring procedure has ended, that is, after the rejection notifications have been send out. During the anonymization, both personal data and any documents, messages, comments, and assessments links to the application are deleted. Structured, non-personal data is retained for statistical/analytical purposes. Beyond that timeframe, we only save your personal data if this is legally required or if it is required for a certain case if there is a legal dispute and it is necessary to claim, exercise, or defend legal rights. In this case, it is saved for the duration of the legal dispute. If you are hired at the end of the procedure, then your data is transferred to your personnel file to the extent necessary and permissible.
Position subscription: To activate a position subscription, your email address is saved for 48 hours. If you do not activate the subscription within this period, the data is automatically deleted. As soon as you have confirmed the subscriptions, the email address is saved for 2 years. Subscriptions that are older than two years are automatically deleted. Subscribers can delete or change their subscription at any time.
Right to revoke consent
If you consented to your data being processed by the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences with a declaration, you may revoke your consent at any time for the future. This does not affect the legality of the data processed based on the consent up until the consent was revoked.
The provision of personal data is necessary to properly carry out the hiring procedure. If relevant personal data is missing from the application documents, then this may result in the application not being considered for the position. For the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, the legal requirements for the hiring procedure arise in particular from Art. 33(2) of the Basic Law, from the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), and if applicable, the Hessian Higher Education Act. According to these regulations, the selection is to be made according to aptitude, qualification, and professional ability.
