Interlibrary loan

Please be aware that it will be 2 € for every ILL order.

You can use interlibrary loan to borrow books, extracts from books, articles and other research material that are not available locally and are owned by other libraries in Germany. Please come to the service desk to set up an interlibrary loan account. All you need is your study chip and a minimum deposit of 2 Euro.

Request material via ILL

Payment for ILL

You can make payments at the PayStation by Bankcard. Please show the receipt at the service desk, so we can credit your ILL account with that amount.

What kinds of material cannot be borrowed via ILL

• books cheaper than €10
• master or bachelor theses
• complete volumes of journals
• standards

Interlibrary loan services in Germany are governed by the  Leihverkehrsordnung (LVO
