Description of the degree program

Excellent specialization options prepare students for demanding tasks in the business world. The "classic business administration course" enjoys great popularity and continues to be highly valued by the business sector. In addition to a comprehensive basic education, there are no limits to the specialization options that match your inclinations and abilities. To this end, Frankfurt UAS offers you a wide range of study specializations, attractive elective modules and, as part of the Interdisciplinary General Studies program, industry-specific topics that promote your foresight. A practical semester in a company and the opportunity to study for several semesters at a European or non-European partner university round off your studies with us. Whichever area of business you decide to enter in the future, we will prepare you for it in theory and practice. You will be able to:

  • to think in economic, legal and social categories,
  • to adapt quickly to the specific requirements of your area of responsibility,
  • to make appropriate and responsible decisions.

Career Prospects

With this Bachelor's degree course, you will be ideally equipped for demanding tasks in the business world. Your degree in Business Administration will qualify you for a specialist or management position in small, medium-sized and large companies in any sector. Possible areas of employment and work will be found in marketing, materials management, financial services, production, insurance, sales/distribution, auditing and taxation, information technology, accounting and controlling as well as human resources, as the many different specializations you can study on the Business Administration degree course will enable you to qualify for your future career.

Study Structure

The course is designed for completion in seven semesters. In the 6th semester, the practical training includes a semester of work experience  in a company or public enterprise. The opportunity to study for several semesters at a European or non-European partner university is also available.

The first part of the program is characterized by the core subjects of business administration, economics and law.

Interdisciplinary General Studies

As part of the Interdisciplinary Studium Generale program, which serves to promote interdisciplinary thinking and cooperative action, you will come into contact with topics such as social media or quality management in collaboration with students from other departments.


Practical module included in the 6th semester - opportunities to gain experience abroad

A practical semester in a company and the opportunity to study for one or more semesters at a European or non-European partner university round off the Business Administration degree program at Frankfurt UAS.

  • The Business Administration course comprises 210 credit points (ECTS) and has been accredited by the ZeVA.
  • After successfully completing your studies, we will award you a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).
