Description of the degree program
Two of the most popular degree programs as an interdiscipline: Law and Economics.
This degree program combines content from the fields of law and economics. Both at the interface of law and economics and in just one of these areas, you can work in an advisory and design capacity in a wide variety of companies as well as in large law firms. This degree program provides you with the competence to apply legal and economic expertise to complex business issues and to develop interdisciplinary solutions. You will also learn to familiarize yourself with new subject areas and special issues in a methodical manner and to present the results of your work in a professional manner. A practical semester and the possibility to study one or more semesters at a European or non-European partner university round off your studies. You are particularly suited for this program if you have these skills: analytical thinking, the ability to think abstractly, very good verbal and written expression skills in German, a good knowledge of English and mathematics, and an interest in political and economic world affairs.
The focus of the study content is on the legal field. This takes up a share of about 60 percent; about 30 percent of the study program is devoted to business studies content; about 10 percent to key competencies and English as a technical language.
