This is why graduates in Service Engineering (B.Eng.) have excellent career prospects in mechanical and plant engineering and can expect above average starting salaries. News from the study programme
For the first time, the alumni day of our Service Engineering course took place on two days, a weekend characterized by professional exchange and the establishment of new contacts. Friday was all about practical experience: during a guided tour through the production facilities of Linde Material Handling in Aschaffenburg, the participants gained exclusive insights into the efficient production processes and the application of state-of-the-art technologies in the field of material handling.
On Saturday, the focus was on professional exchange. Prof. Dr. Stegelmeyer gave a brief overview of the Service Engineering course and the role of alumni work at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. The report by an alumnus about his professional life was particularly enriching, highlighting the diverse career opportunities in service engineering. The day was concluded with a tour of Linde's Experience Hub, where we were able to see the latest innovations and technologies in material handling.
Course catalogue
The interdisciplinary curriculum entails the most important aspects of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and business administration (service management). Graduates receive after a regular period of study of seven semesters the academic degree 'Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)'.
