Work / part-time job
Most foreign students still finance their studies by working. However, finding a suitable job is sometimes not so easy. This even applies to the semester break. Anyone who needs a job should therefore not start looking for one when money is tight. It often takes a lot of time to find a suitable job.
If an employer wants to employ you, you should always check whether and how the job is compatible with your status under immigration law. As you already know, most students from abroad are only allowed to work to a limited extent or are not allowed to work without a work permit. You should also make sure that you do not accept employment of more than 20 hours/week during the lecture period. Not only does such work make it more difficult to concentrate on your studies, it also comes with increased social security deductions from your salary.
You can find current student job offers in a wide range of sectors in the job market of the Studentenwerk Frankfurt am Main.
Another way to get a job is through the job market of the Employment Agency.
