The 2025 EUA Annual Conference will strive to define what sustainability and resilience, as multi-faceted concepts, mean for universities. By ‘Connecting the dots on sustainability and resilience’, this event will explore how universities can contribute to a more sustainable future, both on and off campus, while strengthening institutional and societal resilience. So, how can university leadership and communities best pursue sustainability and resilience as key objectives of institutional missions, strategies and activities?
To reflect on this, the 2025 Annual Conference will explore what sustainability means from the point of view of funding, digitalisation, academic careers and university leadership. Sessions will also shine a spotlight on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), showcasing how they can be put into action by universities. At the same time, participants will reflect on how institutions can become resilient without turning inwards on themselves, in sessions dedicated to knowledge security and inclusion.

Discover EU funding opportunities, share results of former and/or ongoing European projects, and exchange ideas on how to work towards the core institutional priorities. The 8th edition of Open Space will tackle the priorities set by the participants themselves, such as sustainability, inclusion, novel mobility formats, and managing the internationalisation process in a changing world.
This three-day event, organised within the EUF Project Manager and Advisor Community, welcomes representatives from EUF members and beyond. It provides space for a dynamic, creative and collaborative environment to network with higher education professionals, share best practices, and connect with peers working on or aspiring to engage in Erasmus+ projects.
U!REKA Connects
Every year a partner university organizes the U!REKA Connects. Here researchers and project staff have the opportunity to exchange ideas and network. Workshops, lectures and discussion groups offer an ideal environment to develop new ideas.
The next U!REKA Connects will take place from 21-22 May 2025 in Helsinki.
