The essence of this master's degree course Research in Social Work (M.A.) is the conveyance of well-founded knowledge of social science research methods and strategies. The degree course was accredited by the accreditation agency in the field health and social affairs (AHPGS).
The standard period of study is four semesters in order to achieve the degree (Master of Arts). Students can enroll for the winter semester only.

You need a degree in social work or in at least an equivalent professionally related degree in the field of social affairs (min. 180 ECTS). A local selection procedure (NC) will take place! Applicants who are not in possession of their final degree from their undergraduate degree courses, shall present a preliminary certificate in accordance with § 18 section 3 of the study place allocation regulations Hesse from May 07, 2013.
