Alumni Couch: Graduates as guests on our digital couch

We regularly invite our graduates (alumni) from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. They talk about the decisions they made during their studies, how they started their career and what interesting professional paths they have taken. Be curious and take advantage of the exclusive insights, because the opportunities with a STEM degree are manifold.

There is always time for questions: whether it's about what matters in job applications, which skills are currently very important in your field, or whether you are interested in a technical question in the presented field of work. The alumni are happy to exchange ideas. And most questions are not only of interest to you, but to others as well!

If you want to expand your skills, then also drop by our Couch Lectures.

The next Alumni Couch dates

How does the Alumni Couch work?

When?

The Alumni Couch usually takes place in the afternoon or evening. It depends on when our alumni have time. You can find the date and time in the entries.

Where?

The Alumni Couch takes place online via Zoom. You can find the access data on CampUAS or you will receive it via eMail as a prospective student.

Who?

All students and prospective students are welcome! Insights into the diversity of the professional world cannot be gained early enough. It is important for us to interact with each other in an appreciative manner. We therefore appreciate full names as user names in zoom, a turned on video so that we can see each other as well as openness to different perspectives.

How?

It's easy to join, log in online, whether you are lying on your couch or whether you are on the road. You are welcome to log in.

In which language?

That depends on the alumni: mostly, the Alumni Couch takes place in German and sometimes in English. In which language the Alumni Couch will be held is indicated in the appointment.
